It was built in 1931. The ground floor is the Lei Shengchun Medical Clinic and pharmacy opened by Chinese medicine practitioner Lei Ruide. The upper three floors are the residences of Lei Liang's family members. It combines the horizontal line design of modern streamline style with classical elements, and can be said to be the representative of Hong Kong's pre-war arcade-style architecture.
At that time, Lei Liang, one of the founders of KMB, hired a foreign architect to design the mansion. He used expensive reinforced concrete. In order to accommodate the curved road, he also chose a unique arc design, and used a large number of horizontal lines and decorative elements. Granite columns, Italian terrazzo, etc. fully reflect the neoclassical architectural style mixed with decorative art elements.
In terms of interior layout, in addition to cupboards and arcades, third-generation tenement buildings already had toilets, and toilets on each floor were equipped with flush toilets, which was absolutely rare among tenement buildings of this era.
