Audio guide introduction: 0 minute 51 seconds

The original site was the Seaside School built in 1946, which has stood for more than half a century. The school is privately run by villagers, and the villagers call it the Enlightenment School. In its heyday, the school once had as many as five hundred students. In 2008, after 62 years of history, the school finally completed its mission and announced its closure.
Until 2010, the "Kowloon Federation of Societies Social Service Fund" rented the old Harbourfront School building from the government and revitalized it into an arts and cultural space, which is now the "Jockey Club Lei Yue Mun Creative Centre". The museum holds various exhibitions and cultural activities from time to time, aiming at its predecessor, the Seaside School, and shouldering the social responsibility of "education for all."
